2003 NDATC POSITION PAPERS  

HB 1132-

Requires all resellers of telecommunications to acquire an annual license from the Public Service Commission. The fee for the license is $100 per year.

HB 1133-

Allows Public Service Commission to implement a $100 annual fee on all utilities operating in North Dakota.

HB 1135-

Expands jurisdiction of Public Service Commission to include telephone numbering issues and greater authority to impose rules on telecommunications companies.

Allows Institutions of Higher Learning and every school district in the State to offer "videoconferencing and associated network services" to members of the public when no private provider is offering the service.
