Full-time Internet/Data Technician- Hazen, ND

Position:                      Full-time Internet/Data Technician

Pay Category:             Base wage of $16.90 or greater (pending qualifications & experience) plus benefits                        

Reporting Location:     Hazen, ND

Job Description:  Monitors, troubleshoots, and installs network software for the in-house local area network (LAN); LAN switches, routers, and servers; printers; firewalls; and wireless devices.  Maintains and ensures security of all WRT computers.  Maintains and updates the following:  hosted web pages and emails, intranet site, classifieds, event page, and WRT’s website; maintains site licenses for WRT.  Answers and returns internet technical calls and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Must excel in communication , problem solving, organizing and establishing priorities.  Knowledge of computing and network hardware and peripheral equipment.  Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.  Ability to install, configure, and maintain personal computers, networks, and related hardware and software. Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field. Knowledge of Windows Server, SQL, and Linux required.

Some overnight travel will be required. A valid motor vehicle operator license is required. Must be insurable by WRT’s insurance carrier. Must reside within WRT’s Service Area and within 30 minutes of Hazen Headquarters.
